Introduction
The 21st century has been a challenging period for medical educators under a series of curriculum reforms. As one of the first medical schools in the region to undertake fundamental reform in medical education, our experience and connections with other forerunners of reform in other parts of the world have put IMHSE in an ideal position to offer a wide range of educational programmes to local and overseas healthcare professionals. These programmes help colleagues develop their own strategies to improve teaching and learning and to equip their students well to meet the challenges of providing quality healthcare services.
To further enhance the professional development and academic advancement of doctors, nurses and basic scientists as educators, IMHSE envisions this certificate course to contribute towards enhancing the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals who are committed, willing to strive for excellence in education and dedicated to educate the next generation.
